RABBIT |
What's with the rabbit and why is it so intimidating? |
The rabbit is symbolic of the ethereal entity (or entities) that all religions profess the existence of, and how religion uses this psychological tool to intimidate with fear and to inhibit the progression of humankind's intellectual evolution. In order for any religion to continue existing and growing, it must necessarily oppress free thought within its members to prevent dissent, promote fantasy to explain reality in order to maintain a state of intimidation, and hide behind a veil of moral piety in order to deceive members into a state of false righteousness. Historically, these techniques of manipulation have successfully allowed these religions to garner and maintain their power and control over the followers, and even today these methods are gainfully employed by religions.
To symbolize the ethereal entity of a religion as a magical bunny might very well serve to expose how nonsensical and fantastical a belief in the ethereal is, and how this perception of fantasy serves no other real purpose than to confuse and oppress believers. Nobody in their right mind would worship a bunny, would they??
